You must have a damn good physique to be able to pull off wearing a pair of Otomix pants. They are kinda out of style unless you have a certain look and a thick ass bod to look good in them.Originally posted by THE BOUNCERfucken A-right cory! Otomix is my shit!!

I like playing my cd's better too. The sound quality is slightly diminished when the music is converted to mp3 format and I like having my cd covers to look at and read. I have an old portable Sony cd player that's been dropped and kicked around in luggage and it still plays perfectly fine, these ipods are too fragile.
I do like the convenience of having hundreds of songs on the ipod but I don't really need that many at any given time.

An Ipod shuffle may be a good choice for you. They are compact, and fairly inexpensive, and only hold 100-240 songs..
I think the sound quality is actually better than a CD, but that's IMHO. Cd Players are just too bulky at the gym.
And oh yes- I finally figured out how to update it, and the Ipod seems to be ok. Boy, do I feel like a dumb ass after giving that poor sap all kinds of attitude yesterday! :moron:

:)Originally posted by redsquirrelthe Ipod seems to be ok. :
Hubby hooked up the Ipod to the speakers in the bedroom and family room and he complained of the difference in sound quality. The one thing I like about them is that they're so small. He put a bunch of music on the laptop so when we travel we have the computer and music and travelling is really the only time I take my own music anywhere besides in my car where I usually wind up listening to the radio. I think if you're wanting something for walking/running/biking, public transportation, training, etc., where having something small is much more convenient, then the ipod is a nice option. When I do those things though I just listen to whatever's around me, sometimes it's quite entertaining. ;)
