  • Paint job on My '67 Buick LeSabre

Hey guys I am trying to decide what color to paint my 67 LeSabre. The original color is Apple Red and I don't like red so that is not an option. The car is very long so light colors are out as well.

Some of the colors I was thinking of were Pagan Gold, Grabber Green, Plum Crazy Purple, or Metallic CHerry Wine.

Here is a link of what my ride looks like

The above two are Wildcats which are basically muclscar versions of the LeSabre and the closest to wha tmine looks like as it is a two door

    I appreciate any help guys.

    Edit: links should be fixed

All would be cool colors. It would really depend on what you actually do to the vehicle as far as mods and wheels. Are you looking for more of a classy look, pimp look or hot rod look?

I am going to try and give it a mean look in the sense of the old Mopars if that gives you a visual. As far as mods, right now the beast needs body work and paint and the engine rebuilt first off. Then I plan on redoing the interior stock and then going from there once she is mechanically sound. I probably won't do much in the way of engine mods aside from dressing up the engine as it only has a 350 and weighs 3500 pounds. Now if I can find a 440 or a 455, then I might hotrod it.

I like the idea of the grabber green...I like green on antique cars!

Ahhh, grabber green. Or I could go darker and go with Mopars's sassy grass.

If that's the case, def go with gold or green.

BTW, my favorite car...Olds 442 in Grabber Green. ;)

Go with a kandy or a pearl paint job. Can't go wrong with that. House of Kolor paint is the shit. My 66 stang is kandy plum, looks like a dark purple but like a maroon in the sunlight.

Metallic Cherry Wine sounds like it would be my favorite.
