  • A post for my Boxer pup

I've seen several other threads, so why not chime in. He is an AKC registered Brindle boxer. He should be a good 100# boxer. I hope so anyways.

    Knox

His name is: The Real Deal's Harley Davidson

After ears cropped. I know it is mean and cruel, but boxers have the look once they have their ears cropped. I've seen them both ways, i prefer to get them cut.

Damn good looking dog brother. I never got my boxers ears cropped. I like the "floppy" look.

My dog weighed 82lbs at the vet last week. 100lbs would be to heavy for a boxer.

I wish I had the pic of the sire of my boxer. The sires that the breeder uses are all over 80#. The sire of my boxer weighed in at 102#. They are very healthy, but not fat. I know a 100# boxer is large for the breed. The breeder specifically breeds for larger, more muscular boxers. If I can get a picture of some of his males, I believe everyone would agree that they look awesome. He had 7 litters of pups (about 60 pups) when I first went and picked this little guy out. I got to choose from about 15 solid brindles. He sells to a broker as fast as he can breed them. The broker pays 375 for white mask and 350 for black mask. I'm not going to show my boxer, if that was the case, I'd have chose one that held to strict standards. I just really liked the way they look. I'll post updates on him every once in a while and show as he grows. Thanks for the comments.

After his ears finish healing up, I'll post a pic of the new look. The left one is about 90% healed, however he pulled a few stitches on his right ear. It's about 65% healed. It does seem that with the "floppy" ears that they can show a few more expressions. I will give it that.

The Eureka isn't bad. That one is my brothers and it is still in the box. Shows how much we worry about clean carpets. We've only been in our duplex about 3 weeks, so it's really not dirty yet. They do work good for being small though. A good single kind of person vacuum. No Bag!
