After ears cropped. I know it is mean and cruel, but boxers have the look once they have their ears cropped. I've seen them both ways, i prefer to get them cut.
That picture is adorable!!!
Lookin forward to seeing him with his new ears. :)
My boxer is almost 16 wks now. He is almost twice as energetic as my last boxer. He sleeps in my bedroom at night on his bed. He's been waking up around 6am this week and he needs to go potty about 10 mins after he is awake. He will sit more than arms length away from my bed and howl/bark until I get up. It's a heck of an alarm clock. If you tell him to shut up, he just barks louder. His ears are getting better, he's probably grown a good 5# since the last picture. What'd you name your female fawn?? I saw an awesome female boxer a week ago. It was a mahogany female, she was perfect, markings, build, conformation, the whole package. Her pups sell for 800$$$$$$ each. I was like wow, but i saw a flashy mahogany out of her, and it was one of the best looking pups I had ever seen. I may invest in one some day and then get some pups out of her. Dunno, I have a flashy fawn right now as well, but she resides with my ex.
I have never seen a boxer go for over 600$ around here. I live in Kansas/MO though. A lady I worked with had a Champion AKC boxer and she sold pups out of him for 600$ Maybe it's just the rural living conditions. I'm sure if I went to KC or St.Louis, those pups could be sold for a 1000$. I had a champion bloodline bullmastiff for a while and I only paid 1200$ for him. But then again, she lived about 10 miles from the nearest paved road and most sales were over the internet.
Here is Harley at 8.5 months old. I weighed him tonight, and he weighed in at 75#. I think he's got the 90# potential in him. His ears turned out pretty good. He is wearing his Harley Davidson collar, hence his name, Brian's Harley Davidson.
hey Knoxville you got a good looking dog there. i just noticed the brindle color was the same on my american bulldog. i have usualy had labs in the past but thought i would try another breed. So far he has been a great addition to the family.
