Just saw the 30 days with the drinking mom

I would have posted this in the other thread, but I couldn't find it. Anyways, it came across to me that it didn't really show anything about binge drinking in college, which I don't think was the point of the show. All it seemed to me was how much becoming a drunk as a parent can screw up your family once you have created a good one.

did she start out as a normal sober mother and then the 30 days was when she started to drink...like was that the experiment going from sober to a drunk and how it affected family life

Yes she was a sober persond. I'm sure she had some drinks here and there like when she went out or what ever. The show was suppose to give her daughter a look at her life from the other side. The daughter is in college and lives a typical college life.

This is why my daughter will live at home when she goes to college. I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay for a good education and she's not doing her part.
