I got the job already. I already put it in my mind that I am going to let go of all my other hobbies and focus on just the child, girl, food, rest, and workout. That will most likely be my life for the next 2 years. Then by then the baby can have a family member babysit it 2 days out the week so I can get back into Judo. Then when the baby is 3 I wont have to worry about a baby sitter cause the baby will be doing Judo with me. I am so excited yet so scared, cause all this time its been about me and only me and now I have to start thinking about my child b4 me. But I know I will manage. Keep the info and stories coming. I am going to be asking and telling until the baby is born plus even after the baby is born.

You won't necessarily have to quite judo for two years. You just might not be able to be quite as active in it for the time being. Once you really start getting things organized time wise and in your routine, you could probalby find a way to implemnet Judo twice a week. But there are so many last minute things to get done, lots of doctor appoinments. But it calms down, or at least for me it has calmed down alot for now. I'm sure it will get a little hectic once he's born, but I'm sure I won't notice as much since I will have him to hold and look at.

Alright, I went to the Hospital a couple of days ago and this is what I found out. I took her because she had a little spot of blood down there (about as big as one of my finger nails) so it wasnt bad at all. But, knowing the way I am I told her she had to go to the ER cause that just didnt seem right. Anyways to make a long story short this is what we found out. I am RH+ and so is the baby. My girl is RH-. They said something about the the babies blood and hers dont match or something like that. They also said that her body could start attacking the baby, thinking that the baby is a foreign object and doesnt need to be there. They told me that right now the baby is doing fine and that the baby is healthy but that, that was the only issue and that she had to be on bed rest until we see an OB. We are going to get the Medicade tom. morning so by Thrusday or Friday we will be able to see the Dr. to see whats up. Oh also she will be 11wks pregnant tom. which is Wed.
Has anyone ever heard of this or has had this happen to them? They told us that she might need a Rogaine (or something be that name) shot if she starts to bleed again, which she hasnt again. (Thank GOD) I am just so scared cause they said that its called a threatened mis-carrage (spelling). Will it always be like this w/ every kid we try to have? Anyone please let me know. Thanks.

Here's some reading I found that might ease your mind a bit and give you some answers.

Thanks Shibby. I wish the Dr. would have told me it like that. Now I feel a lot better. I will keep yall posted as soon as we see a specialist. Thanks to all.

                    Good link, Shibby.

With today's technology and attention to pregnancy most of the time this works out fine.

Rock, if the bleeding was bad then there would be serious cause for alarm but with a small spot of blood like you described, often it's nothing to worry about (of course you always want to have her checked out if it happens though). That happened to me when I was a few weeks pregnant, just a little bit of bleeding, and the dr. said it was implantation bleeding. It scared me half to death but thank goodness nothing bad came of it.

                    Good luck to you three!

Usually around 20 weeks you can tell. By 24 for sure. The funny thing is, if it's a boy it's pretty much garantee. If it's determined to be a girl, the nurse told us then, there not 100% sure until it's born :)

Yeah, 20 wks is pretty good. Take a long hard look at the pic and any that they will give you afterwards, most of the time they're right but occasionally the ultrasounds aren't as clear as you think they are.

Well she still has about 8 1/2 more wks then. This is taking 4ever! I want to know already! Thanks for the info.

There's alot of little things that will get you excited and continue to make it more real as the father. It's really great. About that time you will be able to feel him/her move when you put your hand on your girlfriends belly. When you go to the doctor and are able to hear his/her heartbeat for the first time.
