  • Rafael Palmeiro busted!

It looks like MLB isn't playing around, since an actual big-name player got nailed this time. Up til' now, only a few nobodies got pinched, so I wasn't sure if they were serious about their steroid testing or not. Now, I'm sure.

OMG! I kinda don't believe it though. He seems like the sort that would play by the rules.

Shit, and I bought all that viagra thinking that's what made him hit all them homers. Looks like giambi is doing better now as well, probably juicing again. He's probably next.

His sanctimonious posturing in front of the congressional committee only makes it worse. Everyone was writing off Canseco as a liar, but maybe he is closer to the truth than some of these guys....

I love how he avoids taking ANY responsibility whatsoever. He doesn't know how they got into his bloodwork? LOL. What an asshole! I personally don't care what he was on. I do care though that he acted holier-than-thou in front of Congress and I wouldn't mind seeing him up on perjury charges. Just accept that he got caught and take responsibility for his actions but no....he STILL plays it off as if it was a "mistake" somehow. What are we all frigging morons or something?

Curiously, his batting numbers jumped after he joined the Rangers (with Canseco there) after 11 seasons in MLB. That alone should raise warning flags. On the flipside, someone like Bonds always had pretty good numbers even before he hit the juice and put some meat on his frame. The HOF has lost credibility in many circles.

i find it hard to believe he would purposely take any type of roid after going to capitol hill, and understanding that the policy is tougher now then it's ever been

You sound like the fans in Baltimore that are in denial, lol.

                        Interesting Canseco quote from Yahoo:

Canseco told CNBC on Monday that while he accused Palmeiro of prior use, "I do not believe right now or recently Rafael Palmeiro has taken steroids."

"There could be a metabolite from the past," Canseco said. "No one really knows how long steroids last in your actual system."

Holy Hell!!! I just watched a clip on CNN.com that had a doctor saying that it is possible for trace amounts of steroids to be mix in with protien powders.

he tested positive for winny. so we all know that it wouldn't be in his system that long. and you can find a doctor so say just about anything in the good ole US of A.
