  • Going on Vacation

So i leave for Mexico City, tomorrow night. But to be honest i have been having the worst dreams about the flight, like a horrible feeling in my gut that something is going to go wrong. I am never been scared of traveling, hell i have been traveling by myself since i was six years old. So why now, i can't sleep at night, and everytime i want to start packing, i just sit there at stare at the suit case!

I think i am going nuts.

Sorry i just needed to vent.

I felt the same way when I went to Vegas a couple of weeks back; it was my first time flying. Little advice, chew some gum and get a mag or something to fan yourself down during take off. I got hot as hell.

If you have a guy feeling, then dont go. Maybe its a sign of some sort, since you experienced that before your grandma past away. Follow your gut feelings.

I think it's very common to be afraid to fly these days. Just get on the plane and go, you probably need the vacation more than you realize.

PS...eat some good Mexican food for me! Yummmmmmmm!

When I have feelings like that I just change my plans around a little bit and it usually goes away and I feel a lot better. And when I don't change the plans something bad happens. Last two times a I had a horrible feeling about 5 minutes later I got in a car wreck and one time I had a bad gut feeling and didn't get a ride home with this buddy of mine who happened to get hit by a car on the trip home...maybe my gut only works for car wrecks but I'm not taking any chances...If I was you I would just reschedule for a flight that is a couple hours earlier or later just to escape the anxiety if nothing else...but that's just me. I wish you the best.

Sounds like you are trying to overanalyze why you are feeling the way you do. Seeing as how the recent crash in Toronto was all over the news it would make anyone worry. Just go, have fun and bring back lots of pics!

You're not kidding. I was in Cancun a couple months back and stayed at 5 star resort. They reassured me we could drink the water because of the filtering system they had. Damn were they wrong. I mostly drank bottled water but when I ate at their restaurants I drank their water. It didn’t hit me until the last day there and then I was sick as a dog. Make sure you drink bottled water and have lots of fun. I love vacation!!
