im going on vac to the outer banks , nc and work our way down to folley beach, sc. anyone been to any of these places and have any advice on were to stay , eat , etc?

OBX is great bro... I always stay in a rental house in salvo.... Lots of great restaurants.Ive never been to Folly Beach...

In Charleston, Hymans is very resonable for good seafood. On a more pricey side, Magnolias, S.N.O.B., High Cotton, Henry's, Shem Creek Bar and Grill. Just was in Charleston, did not make it to Folly Beach, I like Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms.

stop at cape hattaras.... Supposedly some of the best surfers in the US...and wind surfing seems pretty popular

I was at hattaras a few weeks ago when that hurricane fredrick went by... It wasnt close but you could see it.....Looked like a Black giant frisbee...Weird as hell but it looked cool.
