  • Making a comeback

Hey everyone. I know I was just getting to know everyone a while back, but things in life came up that prevented me from accessing the site on a frequent basis.

I'm going to be coming back to SM, and hopefully (FINALLY) be able to get to know most of you better.

Just as a quick refresher, I'm a natty bodybuilder who loves to research nutrition and loves to discuss natural training.

By all means, break me in again ;)

I look forward to being back...

I'll also add this to my sig, since it will be beneficial down the road.

              Short story:

Started off by being 236 lbs, and 5'8" with a near 40" waist. (I could wear a size 40 pant without a belt, comfortably.) I was eating fast food everyday for lunch, but I was exercising... that wasn't nearly enough for the calories I was taking in (and it was horrible food, of course).

My turnaround started when my grandmother said "Wow, you have 2 chins." Talk about heartbreaking... hearing your own blood tell you that...

I have thanked her everyday for that comment, as it has changed my life.

              Start: 5'8" 236lbs, >25% bf at 18 years old!!

              Midway: 5'8" 163 lbs, 12%bf at 20 years old

Now: 5'10" 216lbs (finishing the bulk phase tomorrow, actually). Sitting around 15-17% bf.

Plans for the future: Have a "final" weight of around 205lbs lean (which I know will not happen for a few years). In the mean time, I am looking to be around 185-195 lbs lean, depending on where I stand with my LBM since I last cut up.

In any case, I was fat, then I was skinny (huge dieting error on my part... but we all live and learn right?) now I'm back to being a little pudge... but I love bulking up, so it's all in hopes of adding more mass.

              myst

P.S. Thanks for all the WBs =)

I'm somewhat a newbie myself, so I won't say WB. However, I am curious as to how you grew 2 inches after 20? I'm not doubting you as I realize this is possible...just curious to if it was natural or something you took caused your bones to start growing again.

Best of luck on your quest and nice comeback...both times.

I haven't taken anything at all. Males' in general, can grow until the age of 21 (when the majority of the lower extremities finally ossify together). My family had a history of growing later in age... I'm just another case of that.

Like I said, I'm all natural (not a single cycle of anything, including HGH).

It's a fair question though, as most "people" are done growing around age 19-21. Thanks for the post =)
