Anyone taken communications or public speaking

i gotta take one of these eventually because its required for an associates of science degree...and i'd rather be shot in the leg then do presentations every single day....i can handle it like 3 or 4 times a semester.....but i'm not a presenter

i was just wondering how often u did presentations in that class, what kind of stuff would you do during class line

i might just take it online, cause if i do that i'm only required to go do two presentations....and thats no big deal even though it kinda defeats the purpose...but there is really nothing in life that i would rather NOT do then having to do presenations everyday

i'm comfortable with something very informal where it becomes more or less a class discussion, people asking me something and then i answer, im relaxed then....
but having to do a 5 to 10 minute speech about a topic that i research, i just suck at that, i lose my breath, i lose my train of thought throughout the thing not to mention my palms get soaked, i get real hot...everything about it i hate

as far as conversating with people or speaking out in class discussions i dont have a problem with that, so i wouldn't say i'm real shy, but i'm allergic to formal class presentations

I've never done a class but I look back and wish I had now. I'm not shy, but I think those kind of classes really help in other areas. Like interviewing and such. You say you're not good at presentations, but that's what the class is for, to make you better at that. Just give your all dude.
