LOL Sinbad came to my school and did a stand up routine last year. I didn't go but heard it was awful...I hope he doesn't pull in that kind of dough.

Yah that kinda brings the sport into a different perspective, they say they don't get paid much but every time I see them on tv they are rollin in some phat BMW sport utility vehicle... I know that those run a few pennies.

I'm sure endorsements pay well if you are one of the big named guys. When they talk about not getting paid much I think they are talking about contest prizes. I guess they want something around golf tournament money.

If they want that type money they should then try to develope a "players union" I know its a hated term but in cases where contestants or atheletes are getting screwd it can help out a lot.
yah I'm sure their cut though is so small considering all the mag coverage video tapes(dvds now haha) and I'm sure someone is making money out of it, but the prize money certainly tells us who is
