  • Restoring Virginity in Women

    http://health.discovery.com/fansites...eogallery.html

Click on the video link "Restoring Virginity". The story of the video isn't what everyone may want, but the procedure itself may be of an intrest to some women. It's called a Hymenoplasty.

I think that's pretty silly in the woman in the video's situation, maybe it would be different if a girl was raped but she was still a virgin prior to that. Being a virgin is more than having an intact hymen, it's about not ever wanting to have had intercourse.

This reminds me of women who will have anal sex but not vaginal sex because they want to remain virgin. :dunno: Sure, technically the vagina is still virgin, but their ass is not, therefore neither are they as a whole person.

I saw something about this on Dr. 90210. This girl's religion says that she must be a virgin when she is married and she needed to have this done so no one would find out.

Ha, that's great, starting a marrige based on lies. Especially since something like this would be quite important to a religious person.

thats a good point there B, I didnt look at it that way. If its a religious belief like he wouldnt know anyway, that is pretty ridiculous.

The main reason she got it done was her parents. If they had found out that she wasn't following their religion like she was supposed to they would pretty much disown her. I know it's pretty stupid, cause how would they know.

well, i know in some cultures they might watch, or at the very least check the sheets for blood.....not like that can't be faked tho.

Could not have said it better myself.

Did you know the earth was created in just about a week? Fossils? Shit no, everything was on a boat, one of each kind of animal....blah, blah, blah..

How can people honestly believe this shit anymore? And how can people say that religion is a good thing for people when it has been the cause of just about every major war in history? And caused more atrocities then any other human idea ever concieved? Its the most destructive force that has ever been released upon the populous. People would be much better off if they just realized that we should all be good people because good things happen to good people, and when you die you go in the ground and rot. That's it.

I saw a piece on Bill Marhs (sp?) the other day where he was going off about religion. Apparently there is a movement in schools to teach creationism as a competing theory to evolution. His argument, "Its not a competing theory, there is no theory, its just wrong". He said its like teaching kids that there are 2 theorys, the earth is round and the earth is flat. Or that the stars in the sky are suns like our own, or just god's jewlery. How can you honestly teach something so WRONG in schools today. They are not theorys; one is the truth (to the best of our knowledge) and the other is something that was written in a book an eon ago when they did not know any better. Duh.

                          Puma

                          Sorry for the rant.
