i hear ya bro... i dont really give a damn about what he does outside his music... the one thing i get tired off is hearing rap about ridin on dubs, drinkin 40s, gettin so many hoes, drivin escalades, all this other bullshit that sounds the exact same.. eminem is the one of the few out there who takls about other shit besides that..but the truth is he's not gonna be like 'i'm a pussy, i need a gun to intimidate ppl' cause almost every other rapper talks about shootin ppl cuz not one of em would actually fist fight... and eminem is the only rapper ive ever heard off talk shit about himself on his own songs

Rap is eating itself. Just like hairbands had their day then everyone said they were fags. Just like disco was the shit then they piled dance records in the street and steamrolled them.

Snoop dogg is making commercials with Lee Iococa, Target is using "I like big butts" to sell backpacks, terms like "bling" and "shizzle" are used to sell golf carts and ATVs, Regis Philbin makes "ho" jokes and goofs on rappers while wearing fake gold teeth, etc....The end is near. The pendulum is swinging and this phase will play out like all the rest. As soon as something becomes this commercial the target demographic runs from it as fast as possible.

I think you're wrong if you're trying to say rap is going to die. Rap has been going strong for more than a decade. It may go in a different direction, but it ain't gonna dissapear. More like it's expanding cause the fan base is growing larger and larger. So don't hold your breath.

I agree with this. Hip Hop is getting more popular than ever and just now starting to truly reach mainstream America. And surprisingly enough, they are embracing it. There will always be the hardcore guys out there though who hold it down for the people on the streets like P and Triple6. 50 cent though has evolved into making music for people to dance to in clubs. And as far as Benzino and Eminem go; Benzino is a little bitch who uses his gay ass magazine to promote people associated with his label and discredit other artists just because he doesn't like them. Em rhymes circles around his ass and always has. Benzino is one for three with albums. I'll give him props for Arch Nemesis, that cd is aight but his other two are garbage. And on a side-note I kinda thought Eminem was looking a little bigger the last few times I've seen him. Thought maybe he was on the 50cent plan lol. :bbq:

i dont think they are serious most of the time when they say how badd they are or how rich they are its just for braggin. E is a battle rapper that is just talk he dosnt mean the thing he says its all for show. (most of the time)

With Eminem's money, he doesn't have to be tough. He can hire as many bodyguards and hitmen as he wants to settle scores.
