  • Purchasing Tools?

    I need to get a a combo ratchet box wrench, specifically 7/16 - 1/2.

I keep misplacing mine and I can't find them anywhere locally unless I buy a set.

Does anyone know a good website to purchase tools?

    How about Ebay or Sears.com?

Funny you talk about tools today. Stromba and I had a discussion this morning about them. You see, I've been purging stuff here but I haven't touched the tools since that's really his area. We must have 50 screwdrivers and I'm not exhaggerating. My parents had a habbit of giving me stuff over the years because they were trying to get rid of clutter as they were getting older. My father was quite handy in the day and did everything himself like adding a room onto the house, putting in new windows, rebuilding his bar when it was burned down, making wood furniture, etc. He had A LOT of tools. Well, the last was when my dad died 2 yrs. ago, I inherritted all of his tools that were left. We have shit we will NEVER use and multiples of almost everything. Some stuff I recognize as being my grandfather's!

Now, the thing that aggrivates me is that I can never find the thing I'm looking for. Why? Because we have too much and it's taking up so much room in the garage that it can't be organized neatly because everything has to be combined with other things in order to make it fit which makes it all a huge jumbled mess. I can't even fit my car in the garage.

So...this morning I suggested that we go through them and either have a yard sale or donate the stuff to Salvation Army. Stromba said no, a guy can't have too many tools. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

BTW, we're not do-it-yourself kind of people for the most part. When something big needs to be done we usually call the handyman guy. Hmmm...maybe he wants some of these tools?

Ebay has one but I would like to see if anyone knows of some sites to compare. Sears only sells them as sets.
