I just lost a auction on ebay for a phillips dvd recorder. Anyway the guy sent me a second chance offer to buy it, for $85 dollars (18 shipping). His feedback is 99.8% out of 950. He has only 1 negative feedback out of all that.

The reason why im hesitant to purchase it is because the guy had a fake account on their to push the price up (he sent me the second chance offer not even a minute after I lost, cuz the other guy wasnt going to pay :rolleyes: ) His feedback is real good, everyone loves the items but God I hate knowing this guy is getting extra being a smart ass.

I dont care paying extra, its only 10 more dollars the F'er is scaming me off, so do you all think its a good deal for $103 bucks? :usausausa

Normally I would say fuck that guy and to go with someone else who doesn't try to screw people out of money, but that is a really good price you're getting. I would go ahead and buy the thing. In the end I guess you're both going to win out.

i dont know man. I had something similar happen to me not too long ago. I was shitting, cause i thought i was gonna get scammed. But the guy was cool about it and send me what i had won.

It is pretty hard to do that on ebay, they cross check ip and such. I bid on something that got thown out because of a scammer bidder, not the owner of the item. I do business on ebay and have to trust them.
