  • Doom's forecast for the upcoming week

With all this hurricane hoopla, Im gonna add my predicitions.

As of now 11pm est its still moving on a westerly track, curving towards the NW. Now if that stays in place its target area will be anyhwhere from Ga, on up to NC

Now what I think is going to happen, and Im going along with mid-atlantic late season weather patterns, and late summer jet stream flows, from past seasons

A high will settle in blocking the storm from traveling north and staying in the atlantic, if the high pressure settles it self around the new england area, and the jet stream drops to form a noreaster type pattern(easterly winds, dip into the gulf, and ride the atlantic seaboard), the storm will ride directly up the coast, and will most likely make land fall anywhere from maryland, to southern jersey...the chances of a direct nyc hit are slim, but its always possible

My prediction is that it will hit land around the NC and VA area. However, I hope I am wrong and it stays in the Atlantic.

Im actually pumped, when it hits here it will have downgraded severly, but will still pose a threat...nothing has brushed this neck of the woods since 86, and that was hurricane Gloria

DAMN! I was right. It figures, one of the few things that I am right about has to affect thousands of people in a negative way.
