I live in a small southern town pop. 25,000 Here in the last year weve began having a gang banging problem...First it was the local high school banning blue and red.(I guess if its worn in gang style).. Then shottings in the paper called gang related.. It seems there everywhere.These bloods and crips are increasing by the day.First it was teenagers and now lots of early 20s guys... What is the agenda of these guys???Is it all about dope or stealing or just wanting an enemy....Also ive seen a few white guys wearing the crip shit...Do they even allow white boys in or are they wannabes?Our little prob is no where near the big citys....I dont wanna come across sounding that way..but ive never been exposed to this shit..

People normaly join gangs for protection. There are other agendas such as slanging to make money and what not. If it just sprung up localy and didn't crossover from a city, it's probably a bunch of idiots wanting to feel like a bad ass.

The gang or ghetto mentality happens in rural communities partly because they are enammered with life in a big city. Its makes them feel closer to big city life. Also these gangs are so big now they have spread all over taking advantance of a small town would be appealing im sure.

very true. Ive spoken to alot of kids in the past and they all say the same thing, for protection. Im like "from who". If you dont have any problems with anyone, no one will have a problem with you.

to tell u the truth that is exactly what happens to them. My old group of friends i used to party with in high school, that shit happend to them. After i broke it off hanging out with them right after high school, they started dealing shit, partying more hardcore, banging chicks left and right, stuff like that. They wanted control and create fear among people, well this weekend, they ended up in a brawl that fucked up some dude hardcore. Guns were fired, did a search on my buddies house and find heavy fire-arms. Now for stupidity there gonna be in it for a long ass time. All my old buds are locked up or still up to no good.

In a way im glad i seperated from all that shit, couldve been me there too with the temper i had.

well when i was a kid i was in a gang i used to just hang out with them never realy asked why they had one but as i got older i started sellin coke so now i wanted to be in the gang for protection. no im not a pussy but if 2-3 guys roll up on you your gonna get jacked. the guys i was with were feared by everyone so all the suddin so am i and thats good if your sellin dope. anyways i got busted went to prison got out stoped sellin drugs and see no need for that now that im grown. that was almost 20 years ago so dont give me any shit. im just tellin this lil story so you can see why some people are in gangs.
