Well we got our little dogue de bordeaux (French Mastiff) (Dog from Turner and Hooch) puppy on Saturday night.

She is a little bull. When she wants to do something there is no stoping her. She has pulled down an alarm clock and it fell on her head, she kept walking like nothing happened. She steals all the boxers food and just today the boxer started growling at her for stealing his food. She also has the bite of a damn shark and her k-9's are like damn cobra fangs. lol She is going to be a handfull, I can already tell.

She is like the lion cub in the movie The Lion King, (the title of this thread is from the lion king. lol)

Great looking pup. She is gonna be huge.Talking about Lions I was at the San Diego wild animal park yesterday and they have this new Lion exhibit and I tell you it was awesome if I was any closer that would be in his belly.They are the hands down king of the jungle these animals had no fear in their eyes when they look at you and roar they send chills down to your spine.here are some pictures and I'll try to post a short video too.

I remember you saying that she'd have to learn that the boxer is your boy. Sounds like she's going to be a hard learner of that fact. Good looking dog.

Great dog, how is the drooling problem really? and I have heard there is something the vet can do to control that? How are they with kids?

I dont know about the drooling yet, she wont start that until about 7-8 months. They are a very loyal dog who loves and protects its family with its life, kids included. They can be a very dominate breed though so the pup would have to know that the child is ahead of them in the pack. Even then though, these dogs are very smart and its hard for them to feel like the child is above them when they out weigh them by 100lbs.
