All the while your ass is covered because you make it the clients decision to use someone else's diet (you didn't create the diet and you only gave the client "options"). You never composed the diet nor did you mandate to the client that they follow it. If the client wants a certain diet plan you give them the choice of 3-4 that they can look over and choose from. Once they have made the decision for themselves you should be in the clear (the client therefore has to take into account all health risks etc - diabetes etc).

If anyone knows this to be incorrect, please let me know...
No, you got it pretty good.. That's what Bally Total Fitness does, they had a CD-Rom for clients that you can put their info into, health issues (diabetic, for instance), measurements.. All you have to do is select if they want to lose weight on a low-carb, low-fat, or whatever.. Print the meal plan, done and you did squat but type afew numbers.. I have a disc of the program somewhere..

YJ, 18" biceps aren't that big, Mr. Atwood.. :D :nutkick:

Is the National Personal Training Institute in Costa Mesa, CA a waste of money, or is there better opportunities to get your certification at a cheaper cost? I'm current a sophmore in college getting my AA in Physical Education and was wondering what the best step would be after acquiring my AA, sorry for the jack of the thread...

Also, the PTI's across the nation are advertised more like hotels than actual schools...any truth to that?
