So I found a new workout partner and he this huge dude that competes in local BB shows. This guys delts, chest, arms and back are HUGE. He has been working out for 4 years and he is pretty impressive.
Now for my rant. I've been working out for 2 years and I weigh 180. I am about 20lbs behind this guy on every lift which IMO isn't that much considering the size difference between the two of us.
This is what pisses me off. We decide to deadlift last week and this dude can't even do 315 for 5 reps..He is shaking and really struggling to get the first rep up. Keep in mind he weighs about 220lbs shredded. I go up and pull 500lbs for 5 reps and stop b/c I start losing my grip..I could have got 6-8. I know this is genetics playing it's unfair and nasty role b/c if I'm stronger than him on back and not that far behind him on other lifts then you would think we would be close in size.
Ok, I'm done hating...Back to your normal programming. :madfu:
