Default picture viewing on my PC

how would I change it so that when I try to open a picture or when a picture is saved it doesn't automatically go into my paint shop pro. I have no idea why it does. But I don't even use my paint shop thing and it expired so now I have to right click on a file and then use the "open with" to get it to open in another internet explorer window. any ideas?

You should be able to go into the program you want it to open with and set it as your default.

Sometimes when you right click on a single picture, then go to properties, then click change on the General tab. It will set that picture to open with a different program and sometimes will change the whole folder to that.

or you can right click on it...go to open with.. pick 'choose program'... then pick which program u want to open the file with and check the box that says 'always use this program to open this type of file'

To fix this for good:

Go to My Documents > Tools > Folder Options > File Types

Find the picture file extensions you want to change (e.g. bmp, jpg, gif, etc.) and click on Open With. Then, specify the program you want to use to open these files with.
