Well, looks like everyone is in paranoia down here in Houston. I went over my part of town today to look for water and most stores had none. I got lucky when I found some at a pharmacy. Man,I hope it's not Katrina all over again!
Well I don't know if you have been following it on TV, but the last I heard, they said it has a good chance to be a Cat5 because the water on the coast of galveston is very warm and undisturbed. They also said that since Houston it below sea level that they is a good chance of flooding from the rains.
To all in TX, I wish you all the best there. I have lived with Hurricanes all my life and they are hell. Stay safe, and hopefully everyone will work together instead of looking out for themselves.
Good luck down there my friends mom lives there and we were just taliking about it. I hope it's not bad and everything goes good. Let us know if they change it to mandatory.
I heard one of the biggest fears is that there is a chance for it took turn North on friday. That would take it right where Katrina went. They hope (lesser of the two evils) it stays on track.
u never know where these storms will hit. First it was heading the Corpus Christi area, couldve been over us here at home, swamped with rain. Then changed shift more towards the north. Mother Nature.
Everything I'm hearing now is that it is looking like it is has the potential to be fiercest hurricane to ever hit the US...that says a lot considering Katrina. I really hope thats not the case. Good luck to all.

This sounds like it could get really ugly--do you suppose people know what it means to evacuate by now? Let's hope so--and hope they take their pets with them!
