  • Vision Problem..

Last year Sana made me go get glasses because my eyes were getting blurry. Anyway, I only wear them when Im watching football on my HDTV and such. Never really needed them that bad. But it seems like the vision in my right eye has gotten worse and just dosent really focus all that well. So I was messing with my eye and there seems to be a very small "bump like" thing on the actuall eye. It feels like its on the eye itself, not the lid. Its on my upper eye above the lens, I cant see it, only feel it. I dont know if this is something I have had my whole life or if its something new. Im going to have an eye exam today but just wanted to see if you guys have ever had something similar.

I think it's from masterbating too much.

Seriously though, my first though was a stye, but you said it's on the eye ball. That's weird man, never heard of it.

I have always had a little bump on my right eyeball. It is on the white part of my eye next to ithe iris. It does not hurt. I can never feel it. I can only see it in the mirror.

I have 20/20 vision and have had eye exams in the past and the eye doctor never made mention of it.

I hope it turns out to be okay.

When was the last time you went to an eye dr?
Ya man, I wear them while I watch HDTV. The damn TV was expensive as hell so im not going to pay all that money for a great TV when my vision is all blurry! lol

Last time I had an eye exam was when I went to get the glasses about a year ago.

"In the case of “astigmatism,” one or more surfaces of the cornea or lens (the eye structures which focus incoming light) are not spherical (shaped like the side of a basketball) but, instead, are cylindrical or toric (shaped more like the side of a football). As a result, there is no distinct point of focus inside the eye but, rather, a smeared or spread-out focus. Astigmatism is the most common refractive error."

The last time I had my exam the doc said I had a slight astigmatism. I wonder if thats the slight bump I feel?

The bump is not your astigmatism. An astigmatism is just that your cornea is not completely round. I have one too. Just face it you're getting old. lol I believe there is a term for what you have but I can't remember what it is. Just go to your appointment and the doc'll tell you what's up. Oh and there's no need to rub it in that you have an HDTV. :P

You been taking clomid? They say clomid worsens your vision.

Damn, after closing my eyes and feeling them my vission's super blurry!

Bouncer, I have an astigmatism too and it does continue to get worse as time goes by. I just got my first pair of glasses about 4 yrs. ago and I need a new script about every year. I usually wear em for movies and driving, sometimes tv or computer.

Let us know what the doc said about the lump.

Some astigmatisms don't get worse oddly. I've had mine for years and i haven't had to change my glasses in like 9 years.

This has nothingto do with bumps on a person's eyes but since we are on the subject...

Extended use of Albuterol (much like Clenbuterol) can create significant eye damage over time. I have two friends who have used those puffers for asthma/allergies for a few years now and they both have encountered eyesight reduction according to their symptoms and each of their doctors. This is even more alarming because people in their early 30's shouldn't be losing their eyesight at the rate they are encountering.

OK bouncer hears the deal, bumps on the eye, eh some bad some no biggie, they are usually corneal irregularities. Some are from injury some from intraoccular vessel growth(overwearing cl'), In terms of stigmatic corrects. well if its minor say cyl less than 1.00 most people get away with it, but at nite when light becomes less the stigmatic correction is usually noticed. Now, if you do have an RX for distance(watchin ure HDTV) not wearing them when you are using your eyes for distance(driving, movies, anything beyond 10ft) you are basically giving your eyes a really bad bad deal. The muscles in your eye are just like the rest of your body, without wearing propper RX they strain to help you foccus and accomodate(monocular vs binocular) now if your muscles are constantly straining fatigue sets in and then u sleep(when u sleep the muscles relax and heal just like the rest of our body) you wake up in the morning feeling more refreshed but by the end of the day things get worse. At times you wear them(causing occular muscle relaxation, the glasses are doin the work) but then when u don't wear them its constant strain. Constant strain leads to you needing more and more later on in life, if you want you can PM me the RX the doc gave u and then I can let u know whats going on, BTW when getting your eyes examined for an RX don't go to an opthamologist(they are surgical specialists) would u go to a oral surgeon to get your teeth cleaned????NO! go to an optomestrist, they spend 5 yrs just doin the RX portion in school where opthamologists spend only 1 year in refractive science, We have both in our opthamology dept at my office so I see the difference all the time. Hope this helps and if you have more q's hit me up no biggie
