This is a sign of the future for the Packers . . . it is over.

Favre will take his hillbilly butt home after this season and they'll begin the rebuild.

Think of all the first round draft pick choices they'll get by choosing 1st or 2nd for the next 5 years.

Well that's part of it. They have already started somewhat rebuilding getting a team ready for there rookie draft pick. The organization is smart enough to not wait until Favre is gone to do that. So there is alot of chemistry lost now with him and his recievers. Driver is the only one that he conects with that makes it look more like a route that was ran right.

favre is still the man but you need some defense an offensive line and a running game to be successful, he has none.....peyton couldnt get it done in gb right now

Favre looked good despite the rest of the team. The offensive line actually played o.k. and the D wasn't too bad in the second half. They still have a chance to get their shit together. A win tonight would have probably gotten them on the right track for the rest of the season but it's not even close to being over in their division yet.

Didn't the Packer's make it to the SuperBowl a few years back with Favre after starting the season off 0-4 or 0-5?

No they won in 96 lost in 97 and 98 and havn't been back since. You're probalby thinkin of the 2004 season where they starte 1-4 and lost in the first round wild card to the vikings. The vikings lost the last game of the season to the Cardinals to put GB in.
