Restaurant Owner Accused Of Selling Steroids

    POSTED: 5:21 pm EDT September 26, 2005
    UPDATED: 6:04 am EDT September 27, 2005

A 37-year-old restaurant owner in Palm Bay, Fla., was arrested on suspicion of selling steroids from the business, police told Local 6 News.

Investigators said Alex Rosado was selling illegal steroids from the Green Banana Cuban restaurant on Palm Bay Road.

Police said undercover officers and informants purchased the drugs from Rosado at the store over the span of several months.

"Body builders use these as a quick cheat to build muscle mass," Palm Bay police spokesman Alan Abner said. "So, since they are illegal in the United States, they have to go get them on the black market.

Rosado is out of jail on $1,000 bond.

Those police spokesmen are idiots, lol. They say the most ridiculous things and are frequently wrong in their assumptions and accusations.

That's very true. Where I live, 40% of the younger cops are geared up...(yes, I know them personally).

This is so dumb, all the bad publicity lately on AS. AS is illegal because it can harm you. I understand that. It isn't a huge threat, It can cause medical problems but it is so damn expensive, that most people will do it right to get the best possible gains out of it. Or somewhat right. So that is safe in some sense. I could see if it were legal and everyone was doing it it could be an epidemic of problems. It is really getting a bum rap. it's really crappy for us.

Another thing calling it a quick cheat to build muslce mass is just stupid.
