  • Politcal Kool-Aid drinkers?

I have seen Bill O'Riley refrence this a few times. What does it mean?

I haven't heard that term used for quite some time but I would assume it is in reference to "Koolaid drinker", the blind faith of the followers of Jim Jones whose misplaced trust led them inexorably to their own deaths as they drank poison-laced Koolaid at the order of their leader. I would assume that "Politcal Kool-Aid drinkers" is the new term for those that are being forcefed/misled by their political leader/party.

Thanks, that's probaby it. I remeber him saying that at the same time before. Didn't know it was related. It sounded like he used the term when someone wrote an email saying O'Riley was wrong because someone from a newspaper said something else.

O'Reilly always has someone saying that he is wrong about whatever. Did you see his interview with Phil Donahue? That was awesome.
