Things are looking up every day here is post Katrina land. We reopened our North Shore location of my business and business is great!! The New orleans location suffered severe structural damage, but we will reopen that store hopefully in a few weeks. I am currently staying with my parents on the North Shore as well which was also a very devasted area. We were without power for a month and it got old. Your whole life totally changes. I got to go into the city to access the damages at my home. I had about a foot of water in my place but was able to salvage quite a bit of very important and expensive things. I drove through some of the hardest hit areas in the city and when I tell you that it is just unbelievable, I am actually being nice. Words can't describe the widespread devastation. N.O. is a heavily populated residential city and every single neiborhood is screwed beyond recognition. I know it will rebuilt, but we are talking years.
