when doin those tests you have to pic the hosting test server closest to you... Mines always around 3000k upload less

My connection was way faster when I was using Rogers cable internet in Ottawa. Sympatico high-speed is the best I can do here though.

Comcast has been steadily moving the speeds up on their service. Mine has gone from 1.5Mbps to almost 5Mbps recently.

what kind of service do you all have?
i have dsl, that's the slower one right?
i was chatting with my provider yesterday to see if there was anything wrong with my connection because it's gotten slower, but i couldn't run the test they wanted me to.
this one has me at less than 500kb for everything. and around 20sec. 1MB download time.
that sounds slow as shit compared to all you guys.
oh, and oddly enough it said my connection was "not bad" :hmmm:
