    Bouncer,

Trip is the name of my long passed dog. It was, besides my immediate family and best friend, the longest relationship I had in my life. Almost same exact story as yours to the T. Trip was 17 and that pistol held on for six weeks in the hospital, it was horrifying.

The only thing I can say, is that "Time Heals All Wounds" . Yes, it is a cliche, yet, it is true.

It is based on the psychological principle called: The Recency Effect, meaning the most recent thing that happens to us, is the most emotional. Thus your present feelings. After a time, ie, the griefing period, you will have positive feelings, and then more positive feelings, and over some more time, it will be a cherished memory.

Fear not, we are all human, and this will happen to you.

Fell free to PM if you wanna BS.

It's a tough one man, and you and sana all have our prayers.

      THE EULOGY

      Look not where I was
      For I am not there
      My spirit is free
      I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you here
      Don't cry for me Master
      My spirit is near

      I'll watch for you
      From the other side
      I'll be the one running
      New friends by my side

      Smile at my memory
      Remember in your heart
      This isn't the end
      It's a brand new start
thats very nice bro, i thank you for that.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and Sana. Hugs to both of you.

How's the older dog handling the loss? He may need some extra snuggling now too.

I am so sorry to hear you lost your new puppy. Her passing away so quickly is very sad and tragic. We all know that you were so proud to have her.

Bouncer, have been off this board for awhile, came back ready to paste some pics, of Roxy my American bulldog, and read what happened, Man---That is a heart breaker. Very sorry, about your families' loss... the last sentence made my stomach hurt, i was thinking it would end with something funny or gross...... Again Sorry for you and your family....

Sorry to hear about this Bouncer. I feel you on the losses. It's only been 2 months since a good friend and my grandmother passed away. I sit here at home just thinking my grandmother is going to call me soon. But then I realize she's gone.

Hey man, I haven't noticed anywhere in this thread where he said anything about reclaiming money for the pup. I'm sure thats one of the furthest things from his mind right now. Money can't heal things like this for most people. You can't put a price on a life.

I'm sure the breeder will either give him another pup or give him a discount on one when that time comes.

Relax Rado. Read your other thread, I kind of agree with Marine. Just not stated quite like that.
