  • Rooms To Go - ARGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

Ok. Over a MONTH ago my wife and I decide to go to Rooms to Go to buy a living room set and my daughter a new bedroom set. We buy everything there; bedroom set, sofas, rug, painting, end tables, etc.. The delvery guys show up and point out that there are two cuts on the sofas. Now, in order to deliver the bigger sofa they had to go to neighbor (downstairs), wrap the couch with bungee cords and lift it over the balcony b/c it wouldn't make that turn upstairs. They acheived this effortlessly. Meanwhile we fill out paperwork for an exchange since it was damaged.

We have tried to get this stuff exchanged 5 times already. One time they got to the apartment and it was damaged again. The other four times the new delivery guys refused to move it going through the balcony. Now any other time I would tell these assholes to fuck off and spend my money somewhere else, but they will only refund for the couch. This is a unique couch so everything that we bought matches the couch. My wife loves this couch so now we are battling trying to yet another exchange. I've even offered to move the damn thing upstairs myself and they are being assholes saying that it's been too long to do an exchange. That's not my fault their drivers couldn't get it right 5 TIMES!!

I will never deal with these assholes again!! :thumbsdow

That's my vent for the day.

email or call corporate, guantee you will be taken care of in day

best guess, is the people you are dealing with are not telling the whole story to their managers, and thus the managers are buying there story, so bypass the managers, or call or write them once, and say 3 days or else certified letter to president, use right name and address etc.

their story about exchange is 100% bs, your contract is based on "new undamaged furniture" , they have not fullfilled their obligations, ie, legally they have to give you correct undamaged coach, managers know this, workers do not

I had a similar experience with RTG and will never buy a thing from them again. After 9 months of dealing with undelivered pieces, broken furniture, damaged exchanges, unmatched exchanges, going in to the store manager, etc. I finally got what I was supposed to get but it took NINE MONTHS of fighting and I still had to do a paint touch-up myself on the last piece. The quality of their furniture is also very poor.
