I believe he was referring to how long the supply lasts from him eating 8-10 everyday. Not about how long before they go bad. $7 for 180 eggs? That's better than getting a chicken coop.

Now you got me all hungry. I'm stopping at Costco to get some fish and try that. Maybe I'll get a crate of eggs too!

By the way - does anyone know how long eggs are good for? I know in the old days they didn't even refrigerate them so it has to be at least 18 days in the fridge???
doesn't sound that way to me.. if he's cleaning out his old shit, then he would be referring to eggs that have been in there awhile... he is also talking about how long they last in the old days when they didnt refigerate them

i think he can divide 180 by 8 or 10 and wouldnt need to ask

Sorry brother. I didn't know you were responding to fog-hat. I haven't been sleeping enough lately and doing too much cardio, so you'll have to forgive me.

That feeling sucks! I don't look forward to next time I have to do that. BTW, that second video in your sig is awesome--I was gonna use that for my avatar, but you got to it first! I wonder how that guy ended up after that.

There is a costco somewhere around here. Not too close though. I will look it up this evening and get back to you.

I broke down and bought the 15 dozen eggs (except it cost me $12 instead of $7). I had to take out an entire shelf in my fridge but it fit nicely. It's still weird to open the door and see the huge crate sitting there though.

I also think that costco has better produce and better chicken. You may want to check that isle out bouncer.
I would say that all around, costco is better. The nearest costco here though is like 45 min. Where sams is onlt about 5 min. I think they are building a costco around here though.

my first post, and it's on eggs... LOL. I have the same problem with lack of storage space for the eggs, so i got the long, thin rectangular tupperware and put my eggs in that; i kind of line the bottom of the fridge with 'em. that way i can stack stuff on top of them without worrying about breakage, and i don't have to deal with that damn box lol. Don't even ask me where i got that idea, but it sure does work...
