  • Cheap places online to buy phones..

Anyone know any good and cheap places online where I can buy this phone. http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...=pp1&pid=10179

I dont want anything thing like ebay. I want store with customer service and the like.

Also, if I use this phone with Cingular, do I just call Cingular up to activate it once I get this phone or what?

    Thanks

I'm not saying they don't, but if you don't buy one from the store, make sure it's compatable with there service. Sometims phone companies will place contracts on certain phones to only be used with there plans.

if you already have cingular service your current phone probably has a SIM card in it behind the battery.if not go to the cingular store and tell them to program one with your data on it.if they are cool they will do it for free,if not it will cost $10.this card plugs into your new phone. make sure the phone you buy is"unlocked" so it is not locked to one provider.or find one locked to your carrier.ebay will probably be your cheapest bet.just look at shipping cost.hope this helps.

The only way you are gonna find that phone for cheap is if on ebay or if you sign up for a new plan when you get it. And as far as the SIM cards they are not interchangable between phone makers, if it does have one.

Try howardforums.com. There is a Cingular forum that might lead you in the right direction.

Amazon.com. I have bought 4 phones from them and I have always got great prices and phenomenal service.

Hmm didn't know Cingular ones are the same. I know with Nextel you can't. Amazon.com does have cheap ones but I don't think as cheap as he wants. Also try phonescoop.com too.
