  • Anybody own a 2006 corvette?

Anybody own a 2006 vette? I am in love with a red one with shiny wheels. It has tan interior, navigation, pretty much everything. I turn 30 January and I think it will help me transition into my thirties nicely. Any thoughts?

Are you thinking a Z06 or just the standard C6?
      The Z06 has 7.0-liter, 500 horsepower, 475 lb-ft of torque.
      The C6 "only" has 400hp.

Go get you a nice PT Cruiser...women in their 30's are eating them up around here. It's the older women in their 50's that are buying the vettes.

Are you joking? A PT cruiser is a grandma car. Did I mention that I am 5'9" 140 lbs, blond and sassy? Not a grandma!

I am thinking about the 400 hp - the sticker is listed as $54K.

The bad ass Z06 runs $60-$70K.

Like I said...the women around here, Florida, that are in their 30's are buying the Cruisers. The women buying the Vettes are freshly divorced women over 45 or 50 and desperate for attention.

If you've got the money, then I would. Best domestic car you can get in my opinion. I know someone who has one, and is very pleased. Even with all that hp, you still get decent gas mileage. Now you just have to decide on which top you want. The coupe or the vertible. The coupe can take the top off anyway so why get the vertible?

Definitely the couple--great value for a good performance car. I've always been a Mustang fan, but they can't touch the Vettes--guess I'm more of the classic Mustang aficianado.

SUV sales are on the decline around here because of gas prices. The older men here are buying the vettes too along with BMW's and Mercedes. All are desperate for attention...IMO!

'99 Nissan Maxima. Please don't misunderstand me when I say that THEY are seeking attention...I am not saying that YOU are, but I really have no idea.
