I talked to a couple of friends that live south of me, Ducky has no modem but she's got electric and phone. Cowgirl has no electric and had some damage to her house and property but her animals are ok. I imagine Rado may be out of power for a week or so. Good thing it cooled off here so they're not having to do this in the heat.

I used to work for Florida Power & Light and storm season is a pain the weeks storms roll through you get no sleep and pretty much work 24 hrs a day until all power is back on......... Good luck to everyone who has damage from the storm.
I had no damage alot of wind and flooded roads but taht was about it for me

It's 60 now, supposed to get up to 69 today then drop to 49 tonight! We had the heat on last night and now my nose is all dry. LOL

I'm all bundled up here with long sleves and socks drinking my morining coffee, it's wonderful!

:agree: Love this time of year! Not too hot and not too cold. We cranked our heat on for the first time too. Normally I wouldn't do that yet but since Chase tosses and turns all night and won't stay underneath his blanket I had to make sure he stayed warm.
