New Cell phone

are there any online stores where I can buy a new cell phone, keep my current plan and sim card and just plug it in and be good to go?
Every site has phones only on sale with new plans but I dont want a new plan
ideas?
i want a camera phone btw too

You can order through Amazon.....Ebay is your best bet tho. Actually, signing up for a new plan is your best bet. What phone are you looking for? Who's your carrier?

T-mobile is my carrier I extended my plan 4 months ago so i don't wanna make a new contract just get a new phone

Ebay may be your best bet. Carriers subsidize the price of a new phone when you sign up for a new plan, so phones tend to be expensive when purchased without a plan. If price is a secondary concern, Amazon has a section on unlocked phones that you can browse - be prepared to pay through the nose though.

so can i just buy a t-mobile phone and plug my current sim card in and have it work or do i have to pay to have that phone programmed?

Nope.. it is is unlocked or locked to T-Mo (i.e. not to Cingular), you can just pop in the sim and go. There are no registrations required for GSM. If you had a CDMA service (Verizon or Sprint) there are no SIMs, so you would have to call it to have them register your phone's ESN.

wirefly, or go to phonescoop.com it has reviews, and you can brake it down by carrier, and then it gives good/reputable stores to get them from. OR just go to T-mobile.com
