The coach of Air Force's football team, a white guy said something along the lines of "we need more black players on our team because they're fast"..."all the other universities have black players so they outmatch us in speed"...he goes on to say its not that whites or any other nationalities aren't fast but blacks are fast, lol....these obviously aren't exact quotes but that's generally what he said
and for some reason everyone is hopping all over him...i think its kind of obvious isn't? Black people as a whole probably can run faster and jump higher then majority of the other populations...in football we talk about steve smith and dante hall being two of the fastest, no coincidence they happen to be black
another case recently....joe morgan, a black hall of fame baseball player said major league baseball doesn't have enough black people but nobody is jumping on his case. Apparently the astro's have no "black" players and that's a travesty in his eyes...
isn't that statement alot worse then what Deberry said? I still don't even see what's wrong with what Deberry said
the best players should be playing in the pro's regardless of what their skin color is...or nationality because willy tavares and pedro astacio on the stro's are black but of some hispanic/latin decent obviously
should a black american be playing instead of alex rodriquez just to be "fair", theres probably like 5% white people in the nba, but i think that's just because foreign players and blacks are people then whites in general
