Here's how I ended the day.

Called the ex at work. Her voice mail said she had been out since last week not back till monday. Well, this week we were suppose to be on vacation.

How much dumber could I get?

I agree. Just this has been such a weird month for me...I could use something to help make me more delusional than usual and since I'm cutting, no more martini's. :bawl: Guess I'll just go do cardio and get lightheaded instead. :)

Well, I'm definitely on a roll, continue to dig the hole deeper.

You know how often, ignorance is bliss well a friend called, I should have cherished my ignorance.

Some stuff just don't want to know.

Or maybe I do, maybe it's for the best.

Maybe tonight when I'm on the prowl I will meet that special someone, there is always that first moment and of course you never know when it is, until you have hindsight.

            Yeah, THAT'S THE TICKET

                  Well, "AS THE WORLD TURNS"

As we last left me the hole was getting deeper. The pain was not bad though it was kind of like a splinter that has gone in deep and has finally worked it's way back to the surface, a pain that you have grown use to, yet, when it's ready to pop, you can't take your mind off it.

Thusly, took sana's advice and decided to "get the drink on." Now, duely note I was cautious here, often times when a day is going bad it's just best to hunker down and pull the covers over the head, for whatever reason the mojo gos are not on your side, whey defy them, they take pleasure sometimes in irritating us. I often visualize them above laughing out loud like us earthlings are some big human sega game and they are just pushing buttons erratically to shake things up and see what's what.

So, even though it was drink on time, I had the ears perked back looking for danger.

To show how off base I was yesterday instead of eating my prepared meals I substituted coffee. Now, I'd had a great am cardio on the recumbant bike 45 minutes of really pushing it, sweaty and legs pumped, had a pro-lean mrp, packed my meals and off to the office.

Well, it was at that point the swarm of black knats started doing their magic, of course I didn't notice this at first, because they are invisibly and do not make noise, yet they where hovering about my auriflex.

I won't go into my bone headiest of stupidity because I would be highly embarresed at my own Tom Foolery, it was a low of low's that is for sure, sometimes feels like someone tags you says your it, and it is your day to play the idiot, and since I have a great history of that in the past it is easy to fall into the roll.

Back to moving this forward, being extremely bright and on a roll, decided well, since drank coffee all day, what better thing to do to help quelch the pain of the splinter than drink more coffee.

Now, normally I drink one cup a day, at that point I was at 4, so when I got home decided, ohhhhhhhhhhhh, Tom Cruise style, what the fuck, let's get jacked and hit some iron and go put a drink on with a pump on, now that's the plan.

Two cups later I'm at my little apt. complex gym, it's got enough stuff to do 60-70% of what ya need, so if you limit yourself to some things you can get by. Well, one women and her daughter their, and a new blonde girl that just showed up a few weeks ago.

Now, this blonde is probably mid-20's great athletic build and she is hauling I mean hauling on the tread mill, running with great form, I guess sub-conciously it was inspiring.

So, with 45 minutes of cardio in the bag, 1-mrp, and six cups of coffee, I think too myself, what kind of work out will this produce, this is nutritionally and training wise the strategy of max failure, which is what I got, in an excellent way though.

Started out doing one leg extentions with a light weight to warm up. I'd pump out ten immediatelys switch to other leg and then back without stopping, I did this for several minutes straight until I just got bored.

For whatever reason the trash in the waste bin by the cooler is overflowing and it has been like this for 3-4 days, finally I can't stand it anymore, I clean it all up and take it too the dumpster, I come back and decide on dumbell rows.

I do these in 2x20 style, I hammer out 20 reps with my left, switch to right, than back to left and back too right, for total of two sets. Normally do six too eight sets total going up in weight.

For whatever reason before I know it I've hammered out 7-8 2x20's on my first weight, hmmmmmmm, nice, I go up in weight, and repeat same thing, all back no bicep used, feeling good, go up in weight, and now I'm jacking it sweat starts to form on my brow.

If there are two things I love about the iron it is the sweat and the heavy breathing, ( hmmm, good for sex too ) . Pumps are nice and good and love too feel them after, yet for me in the gym they get in the way, I want the sweat I want the heavy breathing, ( side note, not a noise maker ) . And I'm thinking after all the crappy crapy I've done today I'm breaking a sweat and I can feel it coming and I think it might be a good one.

EXCERCISE THE DEMONS SWEAT IT OUT

So, I blow threw the last set of db rows, since it's the heavyiest weight I using a little biceps in it and the bicep are now getting pumped. I move too the db rack and pick hammer curls for no particular reason. The first few sets are awkward feeling no flow at all, and then it comes and I'm just cranking them out, and cranking and cranking, I'm not even stopping too rest between sets now, I'm pulling two or three on each side and then changing and then going back when I can only get two not three I go too one at a time full stretch. I'm guessing just did a set of a hundred or more.

I can't lift another curl, my arms are maxed, probably no glycogen left, yet I'm sweeting and my breathing is nice and long and full and I'm feeling better than James Brown, maybe Like arni and his O-gasm.

Now, the blonde is still hauling on he treadmill, she's still going, secretly I want too catch her eyes, the treadmill looks out the window so all I see is her backside, she looked at me when I walked in and got a brief once over, shame on me I hadn't shaved in 3 days so I wasn't squeeky clean.

I go back over to the leg extension machine figure I'll finish with what I started, I'm pumping away, ten quick reps switch, switch back, and then it hits me, and I know, because once you know what this feeling is you know. It dawns on me, I'm in the freaking zone, and it's real, I realize I could pumps leg extensions out for another 20 minutes, for whatever reason a second wind has appeared and it's strong very strong, the breathing is full whole energizing me, the sweat pouring out of me is invigorating me.

I up the pace on the extensions just going going going and then decide, lets hit hit up some dumb bell rows again, I pop off the machine grab the weight and set a wide stance. Now, at this point I know I don't have the strenght anymore, yet I got the drive, so I drive it, and I drive it hard, I pick up the weight with my wide stance and crank out 20, immediately without even stopping swithc to other, and back and forth I go back and forth back and forth, just a guess but about 20-25 little sets.

I'm staring in amazement at the black naughahyde of the bench which is awash in my sweat, it has pooled up nicely and is shiny and every few seconds another droplet hits it's and makes their little splash, of course I can't hear yet I know it's happy to be set free.

It's time for more hammer curls, which is flooring me, my bi's where spent before and I figure now way, somehow though they found a way, a way too pump out more reps, and more and more.

Now, I feel the fade though, the small bi's can only take so much they finally give out, their's something left, not much, yet I still got something. It's hamstring time, I put a decent weight on just just start pumping, slow steady, grinding it out, I know it's my last set, sweat is gushing everywhere and then I hear, cause machine is opposite direction, the treadmill STOP.

Here I am sweating like a pig, ass up, grunting and grinding and blondy looks at whatever, I don't know cause I'm not giving up this set for anything or anyone, I keep grinding it, thinking another another another give me ten more, I did 50.

I rise from the machine. It was the best workout of the year bar none, I killed it, it was the day we all dream, the zone when we show ourselves we are more than what we really know.

I sauntered over and grabbed some napkins wiped up all my sweat and walked home.

16 oz's of rib-eye, a clean shave jeans and a shirt, itsa drink on time.

Well, the black knats came back with a vengence, I knew they hadn't left, everywhere I went everything I did they toyed with me, it became comical in nature, so what did I do, threw up the hands and said, that famous tom cruise line.

And before you knew it, I was asked out 2.5 times. Now the first two don't count yet the half does.

Little lass in from out of town invited me to come join her tonight.
Damn, it's dilema time, putting a drink on two days in a row hurts the nutrition crushes the training makes me feel like crap.

Yet, the siren of companionship beckons and I have lots of work to do today.

We shall see. We shall see.

                            "My Night With A Star"

Well, the body was crying out for food and rest so Burger King was the answer. Obviously a cheat meal so I did.

After gorging myself in stately fashion I retired to the coach and clicked through some channels. My left bicep was sore sore sore.

For a moment I closed my eyes and drifted off into wonderland.
I awoke about 20 minutes later very uncomfortable. My body was hot, uncomfortably so. I reluctantly extricated myself from the couch and turned on the AC. Rather than go back into the living room and fumble with the tube, of which nothing was on, I stepped into the bedroom.

I splayed out on the bed upside down and sidways, right under the air vent, I was hot and needed cool now. I closed my eyes and listened to the tube, their was something I wanted to hear, yet it was not too be.

When I finally awoke I had no idea what time it was, realistically thought it was the early early am, time to start the day, yet to my amazement it was 11:30, I'd been zonked out stone cold for 3 hours.

I stood up and stretched, now both bi's were becoming exceedingly sore, letting me know constantly that they were spent. I slugged some water, shut off the tube and jumped back in bed, whewwww, the sheets were like ice cubes, I just snuggled harder too tired too care. And then it happened.

Ahhhh, one of those dreams that happen rarely, if ever at all.
I was somewhere doing something in this dream not really sure in remembrance, what I did know was that it was a dream, ( if that makes sense to any of you ) and in this dream I was going on a date with a bona-fide A list celebrity, one of the nicest ones personality wise, and the good thing was I had the hots for her.

So, we go on are date, and again I don't know what we do I just know we had a good time got along all went swimingly and we were back at her place and before I could even think about it intimacy began. I saw her whole body in 3-D splendor and it was scrumpous, now note, sub-conciously somehow I knew this was a dream so there was not a care or whim in the world, all wonderment and pleasure. As bizarre as it seems, knowing it was not real, it still looked and felt real.

I was having a close-up Star Gazing Night, and the best part is there were no Purlple Chickens anywhere just movie star hot pants, of which eventually came off.

Finally I awoke to the alarm, 4 am to be exact, I smashed snooze several times. When I finally rose decided today was a day of rest. So, rather than have a good solid breakfast stopped at the donut shop on the way too work.

At work got enough done to satisfy myself.

Looking back on the week passed I had done fairly well. I'd outlined a 45 minute speech I'm giving to a group of 60 folks in January and outlined the first in a series of 30 minute training classes to a small group that may last up to a year, we will see how it goes.

I fought through the black knats fairly unscated. Had a triple A+ workout, and the club scene was a story in and of itself, gently funny in a way.

Onward to next week, there is much happiness to be grabbed by the armloads, so I shall go home and be ready to snatch up joy by the fistfull.

I'll try and hit up the club stuff Monday.

A football game beckons me, always always, important stuff first.

                            Later

Want to hear something funny, this weekend I finally figured out what your name stands for. Sometimes, and it happens to me too, we can miss the obvious, even when it's right in front of us everyday.

Needless to say it made me laugh several times.

                                good morning to all
