palm tree question?

  • palm tree question?

    does anyone know what kinda palm has like 3or4 trees growin outa the same spot. im not realy explainin it good but i dont know how. they have clean medium sized trunks with a king lookin top (but cleaner no berries). so if anyone knows what there are called or a web site i can look that would be cool. thanks.

            If it is, these things are a pain in the ass to trim. I own a lawn service in Florida, and I hate these trees, they look nice, but the damn thorns are about 3 inches long.

                  that looks like it but the trunk is smooth at least as far as i can recall. how bad is the up keep?

                    It isn't bad. I just did a house with 7 of them, so I got poked quite a lot. But then again I am in a hury to get it done. The thorns only start about halfway up the branch, basically from halfway to the base. You would only have to trim them, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. And that is only if you are anal about it. Some house only do it once or twice. I was probably over exagerating(sp). They aren't that bad, but I do really like the way they look. Especially if you get one with atleast 3 or 4 heads.
