:hmmm: Why do you say that? I'd be surprised if they didn't do deads-they're awesome for lowerback, middle back, traps.

Sarcasm. More fuel to get people to start doing them.

There are sport bike comps with tandem(sp) stunts. It may have been a fluke accident. I was more interested in the soccer one. What was the point of stopping the ball like that.

:agree: That had to have been a setup-there's no way a goalie would do that in a real game and risk giving up the goal. Actually, if you look at the players, most of them are not even facing the goal, so maybe play had already stopped and he was just showing off. :dunno:

That is not a setup. Here in Europe "everybody" have seen that clip. If I remember correct this is from a world championship. He had probably practised it alot though :)

Edit: It was a friendly match against England.

"His flair did not always end in disaster however, and his display of audacity in a friendly against England at Wembley on 6 September 1995 won him admirers all around the world. His spontaneous and wonderfully artistic "scorpion save" simply amazed spectators. "It's a clearance whereby the goalkeeper jumps forward and places his hands on the turf and then raises his legs behind him and kicks the ball out with his heels," explains Higuita, as it were a perfectly natural thing to do, "but, I'm not crazy. I'm a normal person, with positive and negative quirks."
