Vikings @ Green Bay

:hmmm: Hopefully this will be a great game to watch. Both teams are pretty much depending on their defense to win it for them, and with that being the case I would say that the Vikings should pull this one off. Favre has nobody to throw to and Minnesota has Brad Johnson, their back-up QB who I think is under-rated, starting. Since Brad has been starting they have been winning so I hope it will continue tonight! SORRY SHIBBY!

IMO, Brad Johnson is a good backup--definitely does not have star potential and will never make the big play but he also doesn't make a lot of mistakes. I think the Vikings are relying on their special teams, like last week!

Brad did very well with the Vikings sometime back before he went to Tampa and won a Superbowl! IMO he is under-rated but like you said he may never make the big plays...say like Vick because he is not a scrambler.

Yeah...I forgot it was special teams that won that game for them.

Brad Johnson won a superbowl. His problem in Tampa was that his arm was freakin' jello. He's good with a strong running game and a good defense.

I agree with C4dG's on this one. He's not the type who will go out and win a game for you... it's more like he won't lose the game for you. I never thought he was anything special, he's decent. When they won the superbowl they had the best defense in the league (back when warren sapp was actually doing something). Def a good #2 qb.

That's exactly what I'm saying. BUT ... I'm also saying that he has to read the defense and call audibles. game management ... that's his value as a quarterback.
