I just watched Jarhead. It was a damn good movie, I recommend it to all of you.

I personally haven't seen it although I'd like to. I've heard from everyone I know from the military and they say its very accurate as far as lingo, attitude, and actual lifestyle in th e military. Some of the people that aren't prior service or serving in the military that I know have said it was terrible.

I think it looks like a pretty powerful movie and I like the documentary style filming in it.

It was certainly powerful. I have no military background, it it hit me real hard regardless. I highly recommend it.

it's definitely a great movie...gives you an interesting perspective on what it's like to be in the military, looking at a war from the inside out...the ending of the movie REALLY left me thinking, reflecting on what it must be like to be a Marine in combat

man after blackhawk down I have a hard time watching military movies...they are very frustrating to watch when they are close to real life...it must be the hardest thing in the world to be in a war and I give anyone that goes all the props in the world.

That was the only movie that has made my well up w/tears (as an adult). Especially since they were near my age and Ihad friends that were there. Definitely another powerful movie.

absolutely nothing like BHD or Full Metal Jacket. def. not a military movie classic. not hard to watch in fact the movie dragged. it told an interesting story about a marine "jarhead" & some of the scences out of Iraq were incredible. It had its moments but i thought it was mediocre. wait for the rental. im generally hard critic of movies. i have family who are marines who saw the movie and say it is not an accurate dipiction of marines. just my .02 cents

i thought it was real good, but my boy who is training to be a marine said some of the stuff was not realistic
