bodybuilding video forum?

what are people's thoughts on this. i think it would be a nice addition to SM. Maybe some of the mods can respond.

Premier Muscle has a forum like this.

It is a good idea. But it is very expensive to maintain due to the fact that it eats the sites bandwith. So since bouncer is paying for this site on his own, I do not think it will be implimented unless there is a way to get the bandwith boosted without bouncer paying.
G-S over at massmuscleinc set up a video forum, and it had to be shut down until he put google adds all over the forum in order to pay for the bandwith.

All that being said, it would be pretty sweet to have.

yea, i think it would be cool, ive seen it on other forums but i was unaware that it would be money of of Bouncer's pocket, its up to him it seems. I understand either way. Maybe later down the road as SM grows as a site.

Oh yeah - I have a question...

Places like BBDungeon post the links to a hosting sight like PutFile etc... Does a link like that eat up bandwidth too??? If not, I would assume that would be the way to go...

The problem with posting a bunch of links to places is it endagers people computers. Different virus' slip by different programs. I know it's not much different than people posting links to other sites, but with people just looking for videos to post could cause problems. Also alot of sites will block a signal after it gets to many hits and eats up there bandwith. Then we have a bunch of basically dead threads. Then to set it up where we can upload videos to the site take a rar program and such and I don't know if Bouncer would feel like dealing with that. He definatly dosn't have the time right now.
