  • WTF! Antacids for kids now?

I just saw a comercial for children Mylanta. I don't ever remeber getting heartburn as a kid. That is so damn pathetic. Here is a quote from there site.

    Relieves:

    acid indigestion
    sour stomach
upset stomach due to these symptoms or overindulgence in food and drink

That's great. Lets make it easier for kids to eat themselves to an early grave.

You should feel like shit if you eat 4000 calories in one sitting! There is a reason for that; its your body telling you "Don't do this to yourself again".

And, yes, I never rememeber getting hearburn as a kid. Shit, I don't get it now unless I decide to eat something really spicy.

    Sad.

Most kids won't get heartburn but as a father I know that it works on my son for an upset stomach, and it's not due to overindulgence. I have been trying to rock Chase to sleep after dinner and a bath and I could hear his little tummy rumbling and he was acting like he didn't feel good. Sometimes food will disagree with their stomachs just like adults do, and the childrens Mylanta helps....believe me.....I know!
