    Agreed. I wonder though if the things that were listed were done while they were in office or before they were elected. It makes a big difference if they happened before they were elected. Most of them are in their 60s and 70s anyway, so no doubt some of them did stuff when they were in the 20s or 30s that they shouldn't. Doesn't mean they can't make laws now.

        But 84 DUI's in the past year?

        Come on, I just can't believe that stat; either its wrong, or something is really wrong with those people. I went to college, and lived in a frat house, and we drove drunk all the time (not that I am proud of this). 1/5 of the brotherhood did NOT get a DUI every year though! How much do these people drink?

          If you read the snopes page, this has been floating around since 1999. None of the ppl this was referring to are even in congress anymore. This would also be under Clinton's term, not Bush's.
          And in 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving, but released after they claimed Congressional immunity. (from Capitol Hill Blue)
