    question about USPS.....

    i was expecting a package in the mail today and it didnt arrive. anyway i just checked the delivery status of it online a min ago and it said "we attempted delivery today at 11:42am and a notice was left. it can be redelivered or picked up at the PO." there was no notice left in my box today either. this is the first time i've had this problem. what does it mean?

    You should just be able to go to the local PO and pick it up.

      I'd give it one more day. That seems to be a default message put online when the packaged is marked to go out of that office to the delivery adress. There could be so many reasons it didn't come. They could have tried deliverying it and you weren't there so they will try agian tommorrow and if you are not there they will leave you a notice then. That's most likely. Sometimes they just forget to put it on the truck that dielivers to you.

        yeah stuff online and stuff that happens in real life with USPS is usually totally different. I have had packs that never track and are received before the info is ever entered in the system.

          i'm gonna wait and see if it comes tomm. and if not then i'm gonna go to the PO and see if they have it.

            The thing about going to the PO without a slip, you can't deny whatever the package is if it's hot. Assuming it's a package you don't want anyone to know about.

              usps sucks, unfortunetly there is always a post office nearby. So its always so easy just to drop it off there rather than make the extra miles to drop it off at UPS. But its worth it to drive those extra miles if its an important package. I wouldn't trust the governement (usps) to deliever anything important.

                that happened to me the other day also; said that notice was left it just came the next day so its all good no need to worry

                  I'd go in it happens to me every time at my place, i tell them no signature needed and they always end up leaving a note
