Four Longhorns make All-American. Read the full story here.

Texas placed four players on the first team of The Associated Press' 2005 All-America football team announced Tuesday.

The selection of quarterback Vince Young, offensive tackle Jonathan Scott, defensive tackle Rod Wright and safety Michael Huff matched the 1983 squad for most first-team AP All-Americans in any season by a Texas team.

Young, a junior who won the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award, became the first quarterback in school history to earn first-team All-America honors on the AP squad.

Overall, the Longhorns placed seven players on the AP team. Offensive guard Will Allen, offensive tackle Justin Blalock and linebacker Aaron Harris were third-teamers.

That's what was announced before the hiesman was handed out. But the next day it was reported different. Maybe he dosn't think or want to try to have as great of a year he did this year. He may not of went out with the heisman, but he is definatly on top. I can understand him not wanting to risk injury or a bad year and dropping to the bottom of the draft.
