Paying the luxury tax just means that they have the money to pay the luxury tax. Who cares? Only proves that they have more money than any other ball club. Big deal. I don't give a crap how much money the Yankees are worth, they're still a bunch of overpaid deuchebags. Know your history? That's rich. The Yankees had piles of money long before Steinbrenner came along. They were able to buy world series trophies for quite some time before him.
