  • Had laser surgery on my eyes this morning....

Well, more like this afternoon.....All I can say is WOW.....I can see as if I was wearing my contacts....only thing is I don't have contacts on.....The actual surgery part took no longer than 10 minutes total from the time I walked in the room until the time I was leaving to come home.

Things are a little fuzzy right now but it's not bad at all. The Dr. said that my vision will get better and the fuzziness will go away as a few days pass, but so far I can definitely say it was well worth it. I must have called around to 20 or 30 different places before I found this Dr. The typical cost was around 2500-3600, I got it done for 1700 total. At first I was skeptical but I asked around about this Dr. and there were only good things to be said about him.

I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone who is thinking about doing it.

My wife had it done years ago. Best thing she ever did.

You don't feel a single thing.....I was a bit nervous too about getting the outer flap cut off and the laser and all of that, but they give you valium to relax and numbing drops for your eyes so you don't feel a single thing.

I'm anxious to get it, but I was hoping for feedback from a $500 per eye surgery. More money is more piece of mind, but less money just has me wondering still.

Do you feel anything afterwards? Like right now after the numbing has worn off?

I'm waiting on getting the $ together to do it too...contact lenses fall out in sports which drives me insane. Glad to hear it went well.

No you dont feel anything, your eyes are bit scratchy and dry for a few days, hence the reason they give you 10 different eye drops, but there is no pain or anything like that. Such a simple and great procedure to really make a difference in your life, I definitely recommend doing it to anyone that is thinking about it

They are a little dry right now and a very very little bit sore (almost not at all). They give you anti-inflammatory drops and antibiotic drops and wetting drops. I have a check up tomorrow morning, next week, a month later, then 3 months later.....I still can't believe the difference already....It's definitely what I had hoped for....

My wife went to the top doc in the country at least at that time, The same one that did Tiger Woods eyes. It cost her $3800 for both eyes. Now that's on the high end for sure but there garanteed for life. If they need any type of enhancement or anything it's all done for free.
You need to look at that type of thing as well.

Did you get it done in Baton Rouge? For some reason the clinics are popular there and Detroit, because of the Canadians come over. I have talked to a few doc's and they tell me if I don't have problems with my contacts, don't do it. I wear expensive contacts but I like them better than regular ones. Will do it some time.
