  • bit torrents and new computer

My comp crashed a couple of days before x-mas and I lost all my files except the music and my documents, so I need to re-download some stuff.

Anyway, Which is the best bit torrent client out there right now?

Since I dont know much about computers, I was thinking about buying this computer,Im starting to like sony again.........

However this is the one I really want :nerdnew: but cant afford it

My question is, how much better is the first computer compared to mine? My comp is a dell dimension 4500, pentium 4 cpu 2.00 Ghz 1.99 GHz, 256 mb of ram and 40gig hard drive and the old school monitors.

I've used Azureus for over a year and I haven't had any problems w/it.

The first computer is a ton better than yours. It has 1 GB of RAM while yours only has 256mb. Plus its processor is at 3.2Ghz while yours is at 1.99. Those two things make a huge diffrence in speed. Also, the 250 GB hard-drive is over 6x's bigger than your currrent one.
I was reading through the reviews and it seems like it doesn't have a restore function. If you don't want to lose all your stuff again, I would suggest getting an external hard-drive. That way you can backup all your files incase you lose them again. They're not that expensive either.

azeureus is the shit. I have never had any problems with it. I believe how much you like torrents comes more from the sites you frequent rather than your torrent client.
